In about an hour my mom and I are meeting my sister, my niece, and her dad for breakfast at a local diner. I only slept for about 2 hours so Im extremely tired. Normally I would call them up and tell them that and cancel, but thats not an option today. We are taking a bus trip to see the beautiful woman that represents our wonderful country. Yep the Statue of Liberty. It will be my first time there and Im very excited! Its indescribable how happy I am just having the opportunity to go. Our financial situation at the moment doesn't allow us to travel as much as we would like to. If you know me personally, you know about my moms health problems, which also puts a halt on some of our traveling. The cost of the trip wasn't much, and her health isn't that bad that she cant go, so the timing for the trip is perfect.
Well it's about time to wake mom up. Ill have more about the trip when I return. I'm going to take lots of pictures and try to get some video to make a short movie for YOUTube and MySpace. For those of you that follow me on Facebook and Twitter Ill try to update what we are doing through my cell phone.
